During this 1-week incentives programme, you will experience how it would like to be a shogun of a county in Japan where your task is to put an end to the Sengoku (war) period. While visiting various Japanese destinations such as Osaka, Kyoto, Nara, Sekigahara, Nagoya, Kamakura and Tokyo you will learn various skills and strategies as well as governing policies in order to win the last battle in Sekigahara. You will experience the traditional life through visiting the historical sites and cities as well as taking part in exciting events and programmes arranged specially for you.
There will be a group of local assistants who will join your team in order to add taste to the game by preparing many unexpected surprises. Who and how many will join the team, depends on what you offer them. Samurais and ninja’s must be paid money (Oban and Koban medals) and food each day. According to your task performance and various events you will gain credits for your troop, and also be surprised by further events such as sudden party invitations, Ninjas informing you about secrets of the other teams, samurai soldiers from other teams running away into your army, etc…You must supply your army and people with enough food and weapons, training and meditation, strategy knowledge and gain trust.
At the end of the programme, you will face the battle of Sekigahara with the status you have gained through the previous days. The winner team is the ruler. The same evening you will be pampered in a great Enkai (traditional Japanese party) celebrating the end of the war period.
In this incentives programme you will have a chance to get to know the local Japanese people as well as culture. You will have a chance to learn Kendo (sword skills), attend formal tea ceremonies, take a bath in a revitalizing natural hot spring, walk into the rich forest in order to train and meditate.
While visiting interesting cities such as Osaka, Kyoto, Nara, Sekigahara, Nagoya, Kamakura and Tokyo, enjoy your stay in Japanese guesthouses known as Ryokan and dine at local traditional restaurants tasting regional food at every different city you visit.
